The heart of SiegetheDay is in the modding side of DS, and as we grow we want to attract more and more modders training them up. That is where this forum comes in. I would like SiegetheDay to become a site where you can come to and find information and help not availible on any other site. I want this to be the site where you come and you know you'll find the answer or at least be put on the right track. This is the forum to post that amazing new tidbit of code you found while writing gas files last night. Just created a new animation? Post it here. This is a showcase of knowledge. Anybody can contribute too it, the better tutorials and really helpful bits of info will be posted on the main sites tutorial page. forums: |

I've started (re)reading modding forums (what's a sensible OCD person supposed to do? RTFM from the beginning, that's what!) I'm going through the Modding main page at the moment. DS2 Broken World 2.3 Talon not appearing |

Playing through DS2 again (Broken World v2.3) and I don't recall having issues with this in my first playthrough over a decade ago, but I've reached Talon, wiped my party, reloaded the game and Talon is nowhere to be seen. I've read all about this bug for the past few hours, but have been unsuccessful in finding a resolution. Ideally, I'd like to just reset the quest and accept it once more to trigger the cut-scene and resume play. However, the more I read, I find the best solution is to just bypass it. forums: |

Hello, me and my friends are playing the DS2 legendary mod for a while now and just now noticed that we were playing without BW (the two new skilltrees were not available). So the next time we want to play with our chars but also with another game version. AllSaves Mod is not an option because we have the steam DS2 with Killah's fix. Therefore i want to hack the save files. If i extract a *.ds2party file with the TankViewer2 i get these 4 files: forums: |

Hi, after deciding to replay one of my childhood favorites and seeing that this site was still active, I decided to make an account and ask for help. I have both the CD and Steam version of the game on hand and would like to know what I need to get started on a modern windows 10 PC (read about necessary patches the other day) and if there are "must-have" mods. I'd also like to know if there is a simple way to modify the droprate of set items/uniques on my own (most of the mods for it seem to overtune it by a lot and my intention is to simply increase the odds a little) forums: |
