I got a smartphone fairly recently. There is a program I enrolled in called SafeLink which provides a cellphone for low income people. It's a little annoying sometimes as it insists on chirping at me and stuff. But I do appreciate having it.

I blocked this user because it links back to a Russian Government Web Site that takes over computers. When you are surfing the Internet do not open sites that contain the name Putin or IP address ending in mid.ru.

Hi all

My dad is very sick and is recovering from surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical center in Boston. He's been sick for several weeks and has become very frail. He will need more surgery but his doctors want him to become stronger before that will happen. So, please keep some kind thoughts in your heart for him and for me.

January was cold, at least here in California it is warm to hot in February. Yesterday it was 67, today it was 75 the rest of the week it could reach 80 in places like San Francisco. That does not even happen there in the summer.

Things that happened today the groundhog saw his shadow. That means 6 more weeks of winter, but remember he is only right 50% of the time. It is the Chinese year of the water tiger. The Marine Brew Pub is going out of business. They are having a silent auction selling off all they own to help support their staff. They have a 40 foot long bar. chairs and tables, everything in the kitchen all the pictures and memorabilia on the walls.
