DS2 & BW Technical Support

Hello,
I am having loss of progress when playing multiplayer (lan), The game is the same as my brother patch 2.2 and windows 7 yet he didn't experience any loss of progress, i remember when i was playing with him 3 or 4 years ago (windows xp )i didn't had any loss, Could be a windows 7 problem?

So I recently got struck by nostalgia and decided to return to Dungeon Siege 2 BW. This time I wanted to share the experience with my partner as well.

After following this guide, manually adding my graphics card device id and manufacturer id to the system_detail.gas file I managed to get the game running in widescreen (1920x1080). Though windowed widescreen was alright, it only felt perfect when I got the game to maximized window using the program WindowedBorderlessGaming.

So after awhile of not existing at all, I decided to look into Dungeon Siege 2 and play once again. I was just starting to get repulsed again by the cursor and "fullscreen" crap that came along with the Windows 10 Creator Update so I Googled for a long while. Right under my nose.. I didn't even realize that Killah released this .exe with his Steam fix. I checked it out and it really works. Dungeon Siege 2 started working fine on Steam. I mean, like NORMAL!

So here we are again. Broken world is giving me problems to let me play it, making my damn cursor invisible and tuck him in the right side of the corner where it disappears for complete. At least now I have some ideas of what is causing it, even if my tries to resolve it came back fruitless.

The thing is that Windows 10 released an aniverssary update thing that made many cursor on games invisible, but for most of them if I check the option of "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" the game crashes.

Just wondering, when adding an icon that goes above a character's head, what do you do to add/change that? I don't know why I never figured out how to do this myself earlier but it doesn't look like I can just change it with the conversations.gas file.
Can anyone tell me how I could go about doing this?

I got my DS2 and Broken World in the Mail
It is not like the DS1+LOA, where they both installed to.
DS2 installed in the microsoftgames folder of the programfiles,
while Broken World created its own subfolder of programfiles called 2kgames.
Does this mean that Broken World is a separate game?
Is this normal?
I know LOA had it's own launcher but it was different for me.

Has anyone figured out how to play DS2 full screen on Windows 10- Creator's Update yet? I've held off for too long and I'm having withdrawals I finally decided to play the game with the 'fullscreen=false' settings and now all of the hero skins are invisible (except for the head) for some reason. No changes to mods. As usual I'm only using the Legendary Mod and Aranna Legacy, and as I have also recently updated Aranna Legacy I can confirm the missing hero skins do not belong to it.
