ACTUALLY beat Broken World for the first time. Holy crap. I got pretty far before, but I don't think I managed to defeat the second surgeon and I gave up. I didn't appreciate challenge in games 2 years ago as much as I do now. And it wasn't until recently I dedicated the time to it.
I feel pretty accomplished. See, Dungeon Siege isn't actually that difficult of a game, all things considered. It's fair, and although there may be your odd balancing issue or difficulty curve, it's generally pretty consistent.

People like to build maps here, I've heard, however time-taking they may be.
So a I had a couple simple ideas.

That feller, Loneknight, who was working on the Derelict project.
Is he still.. you know.. in existence? Looking through forums, not just on Siegetheday but on other old DS websites, and it doesn't even look like he left a message ever saying he quit. Just dropped off the face of the earth.
Which is a shame because it sounded like the mod he was working on, however crazily ambitious for Dungeon Siege and it's limitations, sounded like it showed promise. Plus he showed some passion about it.

A fortnight and another, methinks it's been.
I've been ridiculously busy with school. Junior year, and I'm sort of stuck in my lazy habits so I spend a lot of time doing make-up work. Even then, I'd be exceptionally behind as it's incredibly difficult to learn new things (I'm looking at you, Algebra and Chemistry.) So, the last time I've really had the TIME to play this here game was... last time I was on the site, actually. A while.

I've never heard it before, that I remember, and it is fairly old now. But this Halloween I heard it on several different videos, as well as in school once.

The Dungeon Siege II Deluxe edition finally arrived, and it has some pretty neat perks with it too. For example, the casing alone for it is epic. DSII, Broken World and some bonus content stuffs.
