Throne of Agony!

So I'm about to get DS2 Throne of Agony for the PSP. It's only like $7 for a good copy, so I'm going to get it anyway, but I'm just curious. I've seen videos, and it seems a strange take on the DS formula. Has anyone here played it, own it still? How is it? I understand you're picking from characters, not playing your own, and that alone is kind of a bugger.

I have no PSP, but I remember forum posts that said it's not that bad for a PSP-based A-RPG.

The character creation may be limited indeed, according to Wikipedia and the feature description on the ToA web site
it really seems you rather have to chose your hero from three given characters than to create your hero from one of three races. How far you can customize your hero then I can't estimate.

However there are some gameplay videos available on Youtube, also sol77 posted some screen shots once, and I've posted a blog entry about ToA with some interesting links perhaps.

That's mighty impressive that you happened to keep the site before it was taken down- I don't suppose you'dve happened to do the same for the rest of the official Dungeon Siege websites before Square Enix killed 'em?

Anyway, thanks for the info! Still plan on picking it up 'sometime' (Don't know how soon it'll be, but I may or may not grab it for my birthday.) as it seems solid. I recall someone playing it ages ago- although they never let me play- and I know that Taar is in the game. Wonder how many other members of the DS2 cast are there, but I'll find out soon~

Let us know what you think of it. I don't have any consoles (strictly pc games) but I was curious about it when it came out.
