Miniguns

I am trying to adapt the fire extinguisher from the Halloween map over to a DS2/BW context. I noticed that there are templates for the miniguns from DS1, and they have been modified to replace a "minigun_magic" skrit with a "weapon_minigun" one, so there was apparently some development done by GPG. But there don't appear to be any miniguns in either DS2 or BW, and the fs7 animations are all changed (moving the left hand from a side handle to underneath the stock) so the minigun models would fit the animations any more.

BW content in SIege Editor 2

I just tried to launch Siege Editor 2 pointing at an untanked set of BW content and it crashed because the skrit in BW uses functions that were added to the engine for BW, and SE2 doesn't have them.

Dawn of Aranna

Dungeon Siege II: Dawn of Aranna (DSII: DoA)
That's the name of the SUCCESSION OF BW.
A small group of german fans develope this project ... till now.
It will be a MMORPG, so there is a lot of work and we would be glad to see more mappers, modders and programmers.
The Alpha 1.0 already exists, but it's just a little map. There are still many bugs. But it's only an alpha version. To play the Alpha you must download these three files and put them into the "resources" file. After starting BW, it usually works.

All the nodes of DS, LoA, DSII and BW are being included.

Siege FX

I'm starting to accumulate details as I find them about how the WorldFXMgr stuff works in DS2. There's a new page at http://dslcv1-458.fast.net/ds/siegefx.asp that I'll be progressively adding to as I go along. I expect to change some of the function names into links leading to a description of the parameters and maybe examples of use, starting later tonight. Expect this page to change frequently - I'll probably also add a change log to it at the bottom.

New Dwarf Head

As a test of my method for importing the skeletons for DS2 and BW content, I pulled in the Dwarf's skeleton and made him a new head with proper muttonchop whiskers.

If anyone wants to use it in a mod, let me know by PM and you can have the ASP or gmax files. I've tested it only in the Animation viewer so far (it does stitch correctly to the neck), but I haven't made the gas changes to use it in the game.
