I've done a few mods to add playable characters for DS1/LoA - Naja, Succubus Queen, etc. - and they're easy to add for SP because the game will offer any template based on "hero" as an SP-usable character. This means that a new character just needs a NEW template file with the right content. However for MP use, it's necessary to REPLACE an existing gas file (or several) because there is only the one list and you have to change it. forums: |

I got bored quickly of Dungeon Siege, despite liking most of its features. The reason is that multiclass characters are much too weak compared to their pure-class counterparts. When you level up a secondary skill, the skill itself rises plenty fast, but the STAT rises extremely slow, since stat growth is tied to your character's total experience, not the experience in that particular skill. forums: |

Making some good progress on bringing the DS2 Cestus to LOA. Making it a 1Hand melee weapon that specializes base_staff is giving me some cool animation combinations. 1Hand to Staff Melee: Cestus Magic Melee: Now if I could only get the dagger to equip in the shield_hand like that for the melee attack animation. forums: |
