DS2 General Discussion

I was never too good at this is DS1 or DS:LOA.

Is it possible to edit items with DS2? I have some MOB items that i would like to make a litle more powerful.

i.e. the Test Spear (Morden weapon) Morden Shield, etc.

I would like to edit my items instead of enchanting them, that gets extremely boring and options are limited.

So some of us have been talking about putting together a compilation of the 5 best mods for DS2 just to get the new gamers going.
This thread is for suggesting which ones should be included.

Is there a DSII Siege University???

If not, I think that we (the modding community) and others knowledgeable on such matters should write a Siege University II. Such a document would make a great impact on the community.

What do you think the new race in the DS2 Expansion will be? Dwarves? Undead (skeletons)? Droog? Something similar to the Utreans? Something animal like (think Hassats...)? ...or something completely different?

Lets hear some speculation folks.

Where the heck do I find these mods? I've scoured the downloads links on this site and others and I can't seem to find the seefar mod that people so often refer to. Any info is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

.....is it that pretty much everywhere I go, I see such negativity from many people regarding modifying and playing DS2?

Why are so many folks wasting valuable energy griping about this and that, when you all could be pooling together and doing something good for the community?

I find it rather unamusing. So many good brains in our community, you should reconsider griping about this game, and DO SOMETHING!

What do I mean?

Well, why don't the lot of you just MOD this game? You cannot tell me that 'due to the trillions of bugs, this game is dead, and I cannot mod this game'. That, my friends, is hogwash.
