Sale on at Humble - Dungeon Siege series

There is a sale for the next 12 days on at the Humble Bundle web store for Dungeon Siege. You can purchase the base editions of Dungeon Siege 1 and Dungeon Siege II for $1.39 each. These do not include the expansion packs, so they might not be all that desirable. I'm going to purchase them since my game discs are getting scratchy and/or MIA. Oh, and if you're feeling frisky (or something) you can purchase Dungeon Siege III for $2.99.

You can find them here

There are other titles on sale as well., with some games only being on sale for the next 2 or 3 days.

I'm kinda sorta looking at Dark Souls and Dragon Age II. Also thinking about the original Bioshock (even though I'm not really big on 1st person games but it's only like five dollars.)

Hmmph! Humble doesn't disclose needing a steam account until you add the game to your shopping cart. I mean, I have a Steam account but that's still bullshit, especially since they say they aren't even affiliated with Steam. It's also unclear whether or not the game is added to your Steam Library. *shrug* I think I will wait until tomorrow to make any purchases.

As to your links to oldgames, Ulyss, I'm afraid that *is* against the site rules. True, we aren't on Steam but oldgames is giving games away for free...But, the games are copyrighted material, even if they are old. Unfortunately, I am unable to edit your post at this time since the forum software is a bit glitchy at the moment.

I'm not trying to come down on you or be nitpicky. Just...please be aware of this rule for future reference.

Very sorry Kathy. By the way I just buy Dungeon Siege (with no LOA)... and they sell me a code for Steam.
Just to mention this: The Steam account for "regicarr" has been linked to your Humble Bundle account.
But still it's not very hard to anybody to use my code (like a gift)
More details about Steam and the code: https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/articles/204008710-How-To-Redeem-Steam-Keys

Again very sorry snif
About Humble: they affiliated 100% with Steam. They sell only code (for Steam). Steam will not provide extra giftable copies of games you already own.
I have two (2) codes to give for free. One for Dungeon Siege (with no LOA) and the second for Dungeon Siege 2 (with no Broken World). Cost me both $4.00 CAN.
Eventually I put both codes on Steam: Hub section for both games ... like before Monday (january 13, 2020)

So I purchased a couple of games this morning from Humble and they emailed me redeemable codes to download the games from Steam andthe games go into my Steam library. Yesterday evening when they asked for my Steam info to "link" my account, they actually had a disclaimer that they weren't affiliated with Steam. But as you say, Ulyss, they very clearly are.

Important Note: Your new subscription is tied to your Steam account. This means that you will only be able to access Bioshock when you login to Steam using the account named "-----c".

Weirdness. But I got 3 games for $7.49 so yay. Smile
