Grüss von Krampus!

Here is a cheery Christmas fellow and he just happens to be St. Nicholas's best pal.

Pretty cute, huh? Tongue

So, who is this Krampus dude anyway, besides some guy who stars in bad movies?

Wikipedia wrote:
Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic folklore figure described as "half-goat, half-demon",[1] who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas, who rewards the well-behaved with gifts. Krampus is one of the companions of Saint Nicholas in regions including Austria, Bavaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Northern Italy.[2][3] The origin of the figure is unclear; some folklorists and anthropologists have postulated a pre-Christian origin for the figure.

So, apparently Krampus and Santa were in cahoots together with Santa rewarding the good children while Krampus punished the bad ones and generally dragged them off to hell.

I made a couple pictures of Krampus, yay.

I made some nice Christmas pictures also. If you want to check them out, along with some other stuff, GO HERE.
