DO NOT WANT

I was adding a few armor pieces to my little mod and was looking at images of Loincloths, because, well...so rustic and barbaric! Laughing out loud

When what to my wondering eyes should appear...

Uh, Santa in his summer outfit?? My eyes, they burn!

(ok, I know that guy isn't of Santa like proportions and no beard, but still)

But the loincloths do not hang correctly and are pinched at the top and flaired at the bottom because of the way the bodies are designed. This was the best I could do after working on it for weeks once.

Maybe if DSLoA had armor ornaments like DS2 it could be added that way.

I was thinking more along the line of this kind of loincloth:

I know the kind you mean, though.

The first attempt was ok, but it looked like too much of his ass was hanging out, but the next attempt just looked like shorts. Plus, it's hard to get that "torn" look because of the way the armor is laid out. Way too symmetrical. Meh. Something to fool around with I guess.

Yes the torn look at least if the torn is not symetrical can not be done. The major issue I find with making any armor for DS1 is the the layout of the armor. You would think that like the torso the legs would show front and back. but NO the front of the leg is viewed from the front but the back is shown from the side. Which makes getting the fit of what covers the butt a bit of a bitch. I guess for a symmetrical Loin Cloth that would look somewhat close to a loin cloth and less like shorts you could use the lower half of one of the armor images like b_c_pos_a1_110 to 123 or b_c_pos_a1_qt01 to qt07 and create an alpha channel. I will look around in a directory or two for some possible alpha channels you might use when I get a minute while the cats are napping Smile

would be nice! Wink

This is my latest attempt, and it came out better. I had to forgo the jagged look, though.
