Bare elf had posted some pictures (or rather a zipped folder of images) when she got a new camera. Since I am taking a break from icon updating (already! ) I decided to post a couple of her pictures that I played with using the Deep Dream/Deep Style website. Just as a side note, I deleted the image results from the server as I didn't actually have permission to use her pictures. Hope you don't mind Lili.

Back to the DeepDream thing. I wrote about the site back in November. It is a neural network that process your picture according to what the network "sees". The same website has another section for Deep Style images. That makes a picture that you input and process it according to a preset filter, such as a pic in a Renoir or Van Gogh "style' or you can choose your own image as a filter. It's all some Python code stuff that Google did sometime ago, but all I really am interested in are the pretty pictures. Here is my gallery also.

Since my November blog post, the deepdream site has undergone some changes. They became much stricter about the source pictures that are allowed. No nudity and stuff like that even if it is a classic painting by an artist like Rubens that features a bunch of nude, full figured women hanging out. You know, because there has never EVER been nudity in art, like ever.

They also went all "facebooky" in the sense that one can like different pictures and who ever gets the most likes over all is the super bestest dreamer! bleh. I can do without that crap, but whatever. ANYWAY...

I used two of the Elf's pictures with variety of filters.
