DS1 & LoA Technical Support

I will look back at my recent posts some months or years later and think "What a noob!" At least I provide amusement (a certain scene from Goodfellas comes to mind).

Using SE, what does it mean when a node is all white, with no graphic rendering whatsoever? That it can't find the art (or mesh, or whatever defines how to draw it)? The shape/outline is there, it locks into place door-to-door, and my hero can even walk on it (as if on thin air), but it's all white.

New here and felt like playing DSloa again but on steam and of course they do not have the expansion so I added it myself.
However I hade a dsres mode on DS for enchanted start upbut does not work on Loa.

Tried to figure it out but sadly I´m too stupid

Anyone who has tried to transfer mod from one version from another?

Is it possible?

I did it before in both DS1 and DS2, but the process is forgotten to me. Is there anyway to turn this off?
I don't know if I turned it on awhile back,
or even how I did that.
But does any body know how to turn it off?

So far 64bit Windows 7 as given me some problems.
Among others, the ASP viewer fails to open.
Says it can't read the objects.dsres
Has anyone ever experienced this problem on 64bit?

I am assuming that it is the 64bit because old games
install to the (x86) version of program files,
maybe that's whats doing it?

I've managed to get DS2 running beautifully at 1600x900 using Elys' amazing prog..

- but I can't for the life of me get DS1 and DSLoA running in Win10(insider 16251)..
- it's a glitch-fest with any of the compatibility options..

- any clues on a solution out there?
