Empire of Stars v0.7: Shit is getting Sirius

Empire of Stars v0.7 "Shit is getting Sirius" OUT NOW !!1

https://github.com/foerstj/empire-of-stars/releases/tag/v0.7

This release adds the three moons of Sirius: the Bandit Moon, the Machine Moon, and the Death Moon. On each moon you have to find & destroy a Dark Generator.

Info about testing and DSMOD, DSLOAMOD, & console

My modding learning is coming around nicely (actually, it's a bit like drinking from the fire hose, but enjoyable nonetheless), but I find it tedious to go through the testing routine of save/tank/copy/launch/retrace steps through several regions. Not to mention having to do some temp stitches to shortcut to my region to test.

SE not showing SNO Filename & invisible nodes

I'm trying to figure out how to implement a cellar underneath a house, so I'm looking at different maps (DS1, LoA, MP, etc.) for examples, but I've run into problems...

Can anyone explain why in SE some maps do not show the nodes' SNO Filename? Not all maps, just some. The DS1 (map_world) and LoA (map_expansion) maps are fine, as well as some third-party maps I've looked at. The MP map (aka Utrean Peninsula, multiplayer_world) does not show SNO filenames, and neither does the GPG tutorial map (gpg_cgm). Is there any way to get the SNO Filename to display?

Empire of Stars v0.6: The Lost Twin

Empire of Stars v0.6 "The Lost Twin" out now !!1

https://github.com/foerstj/empire-of-stars/releases/tag/v0.6

On Aldebaran you encounter a part of the ancient Empire of Stars still in existence. The town of Iliyuna was once the twin city of Iliyara on Aranna, and you can explore the ruins of the Palace of Light. There's also a planetary ring you can visit to smash some shards.

Cannot create viable *.dsres with Tank Creator 2

I'm fully prepared to look the fool here, but here goes...

I can tank a mood file that I created, but the mood is not switched on when the trigger fires. I've verified that the trigger fires by using a known good, untouched, mood file (*.dsres) as the Action for the mood change. The mood is switched on.

I created my mood file via SE, and it's dead simple, just a pink fog.

I've noticed, using Tank Viewer, that my tanked mood file does not contain the embedded folder structure (...\world\global\moods\MyMap), whereas the known good mood file does.

Siege Editor corrupting resources? EDITED

I've duplicated this several times: untank GPG_CGM Tutorial.dsmap file into its bits to folder gpg_cgm. It works out to 8 regions, and I can open them all. I make no changes whatsoever, just save all bits and tank the bits to Tutorial.dsmap. Now when I re-open the gpg_cgm map, region Tutorial, SE crashes with this:

"A fatal error has occurred and the app must shut down.
Unable to open file '' (mesh guid: 0x0000061d)
Check your nodes_misc.gas file for a typo..."

It does this too when I *do* make a slight mod (I added a bow and armor for my hero).

Randomize Your Textures! - A Revolutionary Skrit by Starfall

Ever thought many monsters looked too similar? Well, that will no longer be an issue!

Starfall (not myself) has made a skrit that is quite easy to use, and it's completely free to download off of nexusmods!
