Backward Mod Compatibility/Conversion

Hi Guys!?

I've been thinking about this idea that i can get some
decent mods for DS1 and DSLoA by converting them from
DS2 and DSBW. So far i tried re-tanking with the mod
'RenownChance' from DS2. Didn't go so well. Either the
game didn't recognise the file or it completely igored
it. I figured with this and 'MonsterLevelAdjust' mod,
DS1 and DSLoA will be nicely playable, even if using
XP altering mods (which become unnecesary since...well
...can you imagine a lvl 102 party vs lvl 101 or 102 GOM?
...scary stuff!).

Either way, can anyone tell me if it's possible or direct

The Road To Allysium

I was digging about for a new map to play and discovered that I had a demo version of "The Road To Allysium". I was just wondering if the Allysium Team ever got past the demo stage of the Map? I could not find any working link on the Internet, so if you know please tell me and if you have a non demo version send it to me Smile

Yesterhaven Repack

Heya all.

I have put together some Yesterhaven related mods:

* Vanilla Yesterhaven
* Yesterhaven Plus
* Essential YesterStomp
* Yester Sp

I have been testing, and it seems ok (no errors or warnings in the first 10 minutes of play)

I dont know 3 things now:

1. Is it bugfree? (Can you test it? :*)
2. Can I host it? Where? (forum rules, author's stuff yadda yadda)
3. Is it fun? (Comments, criticism, etc.)

I am not putting this on without some kind of consent, ok guys?

Gas file duplication

Hi there guys,

I have been away from DS since 2004 and recently came back to modding and stuff.
Currently I am reading some very old tutorials and shaking the rust from my skrit and gas skills.

I noticed something that maybe isnt a big deal, but I want to make sure that I am understanding it well.

frex. in loa/.../actors/evil/b

i have a dsx_chitterskrag.gas with the template of the chitterskrag boss.

and in /evil/d

i have the same "dsx_chitterskrag.gas" but with definitions of normal chitterskrags...

[Request] Help Dungeon SIege 1 Item Editing.

I'm pretty sure i've done everything the correct way.

Tools I have:
Tank Creator
Tank Viewer
Wordpad

I have all files in 1 location.

I use Tank Viewer extract all 6 files from .dssave.
I open up Party.gas
I edit "Gold"... to 3000 (Was 418)
I edited some XP...

I then save, open Tank Creator, Pick my source (What file i selected to extract too) And
then I pick my .dssave as the output...

I go into single player... NOTHING IS CHANGED.... I then re extract my saved file... open Party.gas and
Guess what? All my stuff I changed is there..... It just doesn't change in game.

request for abstraction dsmap file

Hi all! Have been enjoying playing DS LOA on Windows 8 Consumer Preview (yes it works - perfectly - no issues at all).

I have the abstraction dsres file - so most of the necessary hand armour is found in the shops - and the monster drops are also providing me with with decent hand armour - no matter what map I play - however...I cannot get the complete Hand Set - no matter how hard I try. I do not have the abstraction dsmap file (lost it when I reformatted my hard drive) so I cannot go to Crossroads on the abstraction map to fight the green Krug, who drop the Hand Set the most.
