Good progress

Well I wasn't able to get everything done but so far everything has gone well. I have redone the theme and switched some parts of the system and added some. I am still tweaking things though.

As you can tell the theme looks a bit different, which is because I had to redo some parts because of browser issues, and some changes just seemed better. ^^ Unfortunately I haven't been able to test the site in Opera yet, and not much in IE6 or IE7. Please report anything that looks odd, or share constructive criticism.

Downloads and smilies (other than default) will be back tonight I hope.

Have to take a break and study for an exam. See you tonight. Smile

Added some quicklinks for easier access to the information on this site.
It needs some polishing, but I'll get to that soonish. (new word for the day)

Need to get some more tools uploaded as well.

Next step will likely be to setup those game session thingies I've been talking about.

Please check for mistakes as I was in a hurry.

After a quick check...

The Gaming and Modding image links are backwards (cross-linked to each other). Also, when I click on Modding and get the Gaming page, the "Forum Posts" link gives me an Access Denied message. And the Items guides ( Laughing out loud ) give a Page Not Found error...

Great page design concept though. Smile

Thanks, the item guides still don't work. I suspect it is because of the .htaccess file, but the other stuff should work now.

I don't like how the image attachment works at all so will tweak the settings or find a better solution.

I have Opera (and just about every other browser) installed on my machine at work, so I'll give it a check there. If the site follows all the rules it should be good.

I'm seeing problems when scrolling in IE7, but they look like familiar IE bugs, so if I can find the workarounds, I'll post those here.

Thanks, please do.

Edit: The item lists work now, provided you are using the www.siegetheday.org url.
I blame LR and Drupal for the problems. Drupal doesn't know that the itemlists are in a separate directory not used by the site and could be trying to find the resources via it's own internal infernal mechanism. Just turn it over to the server.. sheesh.. Of course I am just speculating and maybe it is a setting that I have missed. Smile

Edit2: Crap, I just nuked my testsite.. Laughing out loud Think I'll just hit the sack and hope for better luck tomorrow. Smile

No problems anywhere.

I'm still looking for fix for the IE issues, but the symptom is that the right column of the main page has lines missing (or only partially shown) - it's a line height bug that there's a workaround for, if only I could track it down.

Good, thanks for checking it for me.

I did some searching on the net but didn't find anything either. I guess will just have to experiment and see if any small changes fix the problem.

When drafting a new post, you can see the list by expanding the "Smileys" section. Some of the larger images overlap, but clicking on the "Show all" link at the end of the list displays a pop-up which does not have the overlapping problem (at least for me, IE7).

Silly school. I only got to downloading the necessary tools before I got swamped again. Sad

Oh well. ^^

I've added "Contributions" again, but they are now called "Donations". I've also updated the Help page and setup the breadcrumbs for donation categories. Please upload if you have any unfinished projects you want others to finish, or stuff you want others to use in their mods.

And as usual, let me know if I messed up. :bat: ^^

Btw, thanks for the smilies Sharkull. :sun:
