But I can move it to be news... Smile
(...and snip this comment from the end of the post, to clean it up for the front page).

Great stuff! Art aspects eh? I wonder if they'll talk about shaders vs. SFX... art packs...

Perhaps they will releace an editor for their textures, so i do not have to run it through 3 editors to convert it to an editable format then back to a texture. :?

3 image converters? At most you should only need two (and the second one is only for raw files). "DDS Converter 2" (DDS, PSD, JPG, BMP, PNG, TGA) and RawToPsdGUI.exe do the job quite well...

I use irfanview to look up DDS files, DDS converter 2 to make it a bmp, Paint or picture it 7.0 to edit it, and DDS to make it a texture again.

What a lot of work... Did you install the plug ins for irfanview? Because I can save them as bmp in irfanview...

Also with the nvidia DDS plug in for photoshop you can open and save DDS with photoshop...

Well, when we did the 7pm EST chat, the Euro fans complained that it was a crappy time for a chat session. Just trying to give everybody some lovin'.

That's fine, I only added that as a hint for someone to move it. Wink

I just edited the link to the java client so it actually works now..
(the dot after the link made that it didn't work correctly.)

- according to the DS2 manual, they are:-

Randy Post (rkpost?) - Concept Artist
Morien Thomas - Lead Environment Artist and also Level Designer
Matt Mahon - Level Designer
Marcie Finnila - Production

(NASDAQ: TTWO), and Gas Powered Games, the renowned video game developer, today announced that Dungeon Siege II: Broken World for PC has gone gold and is off to manufacturing. The game will ship to North American retail stores on August 1st.
