Hey guys

Hey everybody-

So things have been kind of up in the air for me lately. I think I mentioned that my cat, Stanley (15 1/2 years of age)is diabetic. He has had that for about a year and was doing really well. Then about a month ago his appetite started decking,,, bot horribly, at first just more off than on.

Things have gotten pretty bad with him the last few weeks, and the last few days I have noticed bloody vomit and stools and he's lost a lot of weight. Given his age and health background and considering he has been very unhappy and grumpy lately so we brought Stanley to the vet today (well, yesterday the 13) to say good bye and have him put to sleep.

This really sucks. I keep thinking I see him or hear him. He was the last pet that I've had; I haven't been without pets since '90's.

Sooo, I've been somewhat obsessively modding stuff to distract myself. I've been trouble-shooting some Zombie stuff and am going to package the mod completely differently, so hopefully these things will eliminate issues some things people are having.

Plus I added some skeleton and dwarf undead. Anyway, see y'all around, having fun hacking and slashing through the lands of Aranna.

Kathy,
I am sorry to hear about Stanley, However he had a good owner and he was 108 in human years, and now he is in a place where he can chase mice and bunnies to his hearts content. Your not thinking your hearing him, you are hearing him in your heart. There is no cure for that, but not to worry for it is not a sickness. Obsessive modding does take your mind off of the real world. However I am not sure which is the real world. Is it Dungeon Siege or is it this other place? Be at peace my dear friend. DOG will howl at the moon for Stanley.

Thank you Lili, that was very sweet. I always think that pets bring so much happiness and comfort into our lives, but this grief is the awful price we have to pay for that happiness.

I regret your loss too - this almost the same way how I lost one of our two dogs myself.

This was really a sad moment in my life, abandoning someone you grew up with for almost 15 years... Sad

Thank you, Killer Gremal.

It's always heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet. I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Sad
