Uwe Boll stops making/directing films

I actually had the pleasure of meeting him at his restaurant in downtown Vancouver. The food was actually pretty amazing. I'd highly recommend it if any of you end up in Vancouver. http://bauhaus-restaurant.com/

Very sad news? His movies are beyond terrible and don't do any of the games justice that he based them off of. Good that he stopped making movies...

I have not been able to sit thru any off the few films I have seen

Insane Dwarf

I remember very vaguely watching this movie Blood Rayne: The Third Reich. I can only remember bits and pieces of it, since I had the flu and was hopped up on Nyquil:"The nighttime, sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, fever, (get me bombed) best sleep with a cold medicine". That stuff contains 10 percent alcohol!

There was Nazis, Nazi vampires, a lesbian vampire and...that's about it. I had to look up Uwe Boll on IMDB to even figure out which movie it was. It made "In the Name of the King" look positively good by comparison and that movie sucked.

You can refer to him as Dr Boll, since he has a doctorate in Literature. I r shocked. Shock

In The Name Of The King (the 1rst movie) is great compared to other movies and its sequels, but the best movie of Uwe Boll (and the most faithfull) is clearly Postal !

I will have to take your word on that since I have not seen "Postal".

"In the Name of the King" was not so bad in the beginning, but by the end...yech (Burt Reynolds, *shudder*). And too bad, since it starred the really rather hunky Jason Statham as Farmer.

(he even has the same birthday as me, July 26th! squee! Shy )

I remember now, that I saw "Alone in the Dark" as well. Needs Moar Nyquil!

We are thinking about the idea of including a easter-egg of the Dungeon Siege adaptation from Uwe Boll into the Legendary Mod !

Well, you have to appreciate Postal 2 (Running with Scissors) to apreciate the movie Postal, or you will end down at the level of the critics/reviews...

..have In The Name Of The King on BluRay..

- it goes well with the curtains here, in the Blue Havens.. Cheer

Running with scissors? That's really part of the title? You'll put your eye out! Insane

I wonder if they show those movies on TV anymore.

Hey there Blondin, haven't seen you around for a bit. Hope all is well. Smile

Actually, Running with Scissors is the name of the studio making the Postal series
