Final Fantasy XX-2 HD Remaster

I've been playing quite a bit of Final Fantasy XX-2 HD Remaster for PC lately, ever since it was released on Steam. Never thought I'd see this title on PC but there you go.

It's just as good as ever and works flawlessly with ever thing maxed out. Of course I've played this title numerous times on both PS2 and on the PC with an emulator - which incidentally turns it into a sort of HD version if you have a powerful enough PC.

For Dungeon Siege players the turn based battles might be a little off putting but the story is great and the battles themselves a lot of fun as its more like a bigger version of rock/paper/scissors. You need the right character for the right monster. For example some monsters have very tough armor which you need someone with piercing weapons in order to do any damage, other monsters are very nimble and your strongest characters often can't hit them but your quicker characters can, flying monsters need someone like Wakka who can hit them, etc. Bosses also have specific weaknesses you have to exploit in order to be able to defeat them.

Highly recommended title if you can get it during a sale.

Incidentally this doesn't mean I've forgotten about my modding, just taking a little break during some down-time while someone else works on conversations.
