Dark_Elf's Harder Monsters for users of the BrokenWorld cd, works with either ds2map or broken world map

uploading this old mod from 2008 to siegetheday, since it was originally uploaded to siegecore and siegecore no longer exists

This mod makes the monsters harder by increasing their health x3, their attack x2 and defense x2.

Installation Instructions:

1. Place bwhardermonstersds2.ds2res into the resources folder where BrokenWorld is installed. (Program Files\2K Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World\resources)
2. Please use AllSaves or Elys Succubus Manager without the succubus modlet checked to play this mod... can use regular DungeonSiege 2 too, but don't blame me for messed up saves.

Uninstall Instructions:

1. Delete bwhardermonstersds2.ds2res.ds2res from where there were installed.

2. has compatibility issues with other mods that modify evil monster gas files.

Could you do a mod which speeds up the monsters' attack speed instead of their damage and health? In DS1 they were attacking much more quickly, and ds2 makes them feel so slow it's kind-of painful.

boro, u know how to mod the game, why aren't u writing it? lol, all u have to do is edit all the monster gas files, there's about 200 of em and lower the attack anim duration from 2.0 to 1.0 that would make them attack 200% faster but may also make them not show their fight anims right.

another option would be to make a monster buff and give all monsters a buff with these enchantments ALTER_MELEE_SPEED, ALTER_RANGED_SPEED, ALTER_CAST_SPEED but again would have to edit every monster gas file.

frankly I think most of the monsters move to slow, when the player moves at 4.0 - 5.0 speed and some of the monsters like rustguard move at 1.0...oh yeah im really afraid of a monster than moves slower than a turtle...but yeah most of the monsters are at a speed disadvantage.

He He he.. right. or, maybe I can do something in windows powershell that does this exact specific task for me. I'm going to finish my ds1 tasks before digging into ds2 though.
