How about a thread of general chatting? Maybe we can post things about ourselves to get to know each other better, or just post chatty stuff. So anyway, here are a few things about me: So...tell me about you? BTW, this is the "real" Chatty Cathy forums: |

A tofu emu might be possible... just add emu flavour to the tofu, and then form it using an emu shaped mold. Any takers? :P
Did anyone see the Everyone Loves Raymond eposide with the tofu turkey for Thanksgiving? Blasphemy I say... blasphemy. A big turkey dinner (with all the trimmings) is one of my favorite meals... mmmmmmmmmm turkey *insert Homer Simpson type drooling noises here*
I prefer beef wellington, rather than turkey on thanksgiving.
That would be tasty too, but turkey is a kind of tradition in my family (and our fast roasting method makes it quicker than normal... only 2.5 - 3 hours in the oven).
..or you could use an emu-later.. 8O
But I want my emu now!
/Solly gets tired of chasing loup and eats the emu. 8O
Emu-licius! That word always makes me think of Emo and Elmo.
I m with you Sharkull.Thanksgiving would not be the same without roast turkey.
more emo-isms..

- meanwhile some old elmo news..

Makes me think of lunch meat like sheep, cows, deer, rat, snake, emu, goat. That makes me think I am hungry, that makes me think it is time for lunch, that makes me look for my bow, arrows. Getting my bow and arrows out make dog think we are going for a walk which makes him get his squeeky toy. That always makes me wonder why, wondering why I remember this thread and then forget why I was writing this so go off to shoot some lunch.
Did you have a nice lunch, Lili?
yes I did kathy thank you and we will have rabbit for lunch in a few days as the hunting was good too.
*GASP* YOU killed a poor little bunny????? 8O
Bunny stats :
Health : 1/1
Mana : 2/2
Armor : 0
Strength : 2
Dexterity : 14
intelligence : 3
I say, there is much more sport in hunting bear or tiger, at least the prey has a chance to kill you, rather than you kill it, and that makes it more fun. :pinkelephant: :construct:
Bear Stats :
Health 50/50
Mana 1/1
Armor 25
Strength 17
Dexterity 6
Intelligence 5
Much more challenging....
There are *bunnies* in DS 8O? Where? :P
They appear when you kill a butterfly. 8O
I would rather kill Krug and swampbeasts than bears or wolves. Golly, I am such a softie!
I would like to partake in the annual dragon slaying contest. It is a huge field, on one end is 500 dragons, on the other end is 100 balistas. Dragon-kababs anyone? 8O
(me, I just hover in the air and throw spells)
Bah, dragons. Try accidently hitting a corpus in the corpusarium (MW)... not pretty when they all decide you're attacking them.
They are, of course, nothing on the chickens and Colonel Norick! :).
Kathy I know where you are you are with a Blue Sea Elf that means you are within SJR's Creation. I thought maybe SJR if he wanders past Herena Forge might wish to guess at it.
Since there is now DS2, DS2 Broken World and some other maps for DS2 I will use one of them if SJR does not want to guess.
I am just abstracted over what to do
Golly, Lili is such a moo-velicious guesser. Asparagus, anyone?
mmm, yes, if it is dipped in peanut butter. :P
Agreed :P. What about peanut butter chicken?
Sounds like a good way to get nice fat chickens! Feed them peanut butter, then cook them in peanut oil, and you got a very fattening meal! :P
I prefer chicken Satay with peanut sauce.
Why do Sundays make me feel so tired? *yawns*
anybody read a good book or seen a good movie lately?
I read the encyclopedia A - L.
I watched a stupid movie that was being re-run on the SciFi channel..."Voodoo Moon" and read 2 chapters of Jane Eyre before going to sleep last night.
I watched The Matador last night. It was pretty good. But the best movie I have seen in a long time is Scared Straight with Pual Walker. Man that was a kick butt kinda movie.
I just finished Doom 3 on the Nightmare difficulty, and it is called nightmare for a reason, it is the highest difficulty level that has to be "unlocked" first. It is very difficult indeed. :P
My guitar teacher gave me a copy-of-a-copy of Crossroads to watch (NOT the Britney Spears one). Its an interesting story, although I suspect you wouldn't like it much if you didn't like music or had a heavy dislike for the blues. There's a nice, long guitar battle at the end :P. I like to kid myself that I'm half as good
And I have recently read a good book, "In His Image", part 1 of the Christ Clone trilogy. It's not as controversial as the series title suggests ;).
Last night I had 5 tries at finishing Chapter 8, "Under the Burning Sky" of the Undead campaign in Warcraft III, on normal difficulty, from about 10 minutes (the mission lasts half an hour, my saved game was just after 20 minutes). Those undead are good storm troops, but man, do they have trouble defending one Lich!
Who is the author of the "In His image" ? Is it a scifi type of story?
It sounds like it could be a religous book also...
