So, now, can SOMEONE tell me why they were down? Shocked said on SN that they deleted it because they didn't see anything in the root directory. Could we yell at them to look at the boards once in a while? Laughing out loud Oh, and I'm back!

The old database is likely unretrievable. This is unfortunate but it is the price one pays for "free" hosting on GameSpy. This issue will not repeat itself here because the administrators have a far greater level of access to the server's root functions than they did at GameSpy. They can perform full backups of the site and database here with ease and I have ensured that they have the level of access needed to accomplish this. Issues with the server or code will be resolved swiftly and correctly with minimum wait time.

finaly the site is back, that is the good news. A pitty that al data is gone.
