Try uninstalling and reinstalling from your original install disks...

my disk is all scratched up.... do i have to buy a new one because ive had it for a whiel

This looks like a corrupted resource file (objects.dsres)... but strangely there is a typo in the error.

Possibly a symptom of something larger (other corrupted file, bad hard-disk sector, pirated software...).

You could try using TankViewer to see if the named raw file is OK or not. If not, the only solution is to get the file from the disk. Before you ask, requesting the file to be sent to you is against site policy... and nobody would do it anyways (it's 300MB).
