Petroglyphs Revisited

Giovanna_del_Arco's picture

In the image, Aceria Rubra and Lothar are debating the significance and origin of this artwork found to the right of the exit from A Dusty Cavern into the Kelvaran Waste. Aceria Rubra still suspected an ancient Agallan source, but Lothar suggested a Cinbri artist. Taar (not seen in the image) refused to comment, and Eva (also not seen in the image) grew impatient with the debate, eager to track down the Dark Wizard. Yoren Glitterdelve insisted that it's not of Dwarven origin. Both Aceria Rubra and Lothar agreed with Amren that it isn't an example of Elven artwork, but nobody uttered an opinion when Yoren Glitterdelve asked if it could be a Morden creation till the party stepped out into the Kelvaran Waste, at which point Aceria Rubra said that she doubted that Morden were responsible.

As the strange petroglyph appears on both the left and right sides of the interior of the exit, in identical form, its status as an artifact can no longer be in doubt (i.e., it's definitely not a naturally-occurring phenomenon, but had to be made by someone, whether Agallan, Hak'u, Cinbri, Morden, or whatever).

The file shows a closeup of another example of the same artwork found earlier in the cavern, closer to the exit into the Blighted Hills.
