Is This the Rarest Non-Unique Enemy?

An encounter with one of these things seems to be even less frequent than an encounter with the "???" character. I could be mistaken, but encountering a Bone Minion seems to me to be the rarest encounter in the game, barring non-unique opponents.  blogs: |

The chances of one popping up when you smash a barrel or crate seems to be very low, but the undead Azunite mages will summon one. I haven't checked the stats to see if the summons are weaker that the generated ones, but killing the mage unsummons them, so it's usually moot.
Oh, right, I forgot about them as summoned minions. I think those are weaker, at least in terms of hit points, because I have targeted them occasionally, and they died fairly quickly. The actual Bone Minion that pops out of a barrel, on the other hand, has so much health that it takes some time to kill one off. Fortunately, they don't do much damage. They are kinda cool-looking, though.
