Believe it or not...

But I actually have some DS related news for you guys. Scott Bilas, if you remember him, recently posted a page on his site where he has compiled together everything he has worked on that is related to Dungeon Siege.

You'll find presentations that he gave, information on skrit, notes on the game engine and so on.

Reading through it made me a bit nostalgic. ^^

Very cool... I see the page allows comments. I wonder if that means he'd answer modding questions (j/k).
Laughing out loud

Some good reading on the 8 frustums and the streaming world that made DS what it was (and still is). Smile

Hm, can it be - this, or parts of it, were already online anywhere!?
However it's nice to see some life signs. Laughing out loud

If you are wondering why DS has no loading zones (compared to many other games), this may be the right lecture. Also the skrit manual is quite interesting to read (although - i'm not sure if things like 'condition with short-circuits' still has its full reliability in DS2).

As written, Scott Bilas left GPG in 2003. Had he anything to do with DS2 or did he just left after the 'Legends of Aranna' expansion pack?

You should mail him and ask. Smile

I sent him an email a long time ago when I was working on DOA, wanting to ask about the frustums. He said he had nothing to do with DS2.
