I think the ears look cute. They always reminded me of kitty ears, but looking at your 2 blogs about them I think you're right. They definitely look like Wolf ears or even German Shepard ears. Sorry, it was rude of me to just takeover your comments with all my pictures. I like your purple girl (in the other blog) too.

I pm'd you the link to my texture folder at photobucket. I only just created the album, so not much there. I do have the textures you requested, plus a few others I made.

This site is a great resource for finding public domain (no credit of any sort required) free to use images:

I used a couple of their leaf pics to smush together and made it seamless in Gimp.
