I enjoy reading, PC games, watching TV / movies, following Canadian politics (more interesting than reading fiction at times! :P ), fishing, going to a family cabin / cottage in the middle of a forest (on a small lake) during the summer / fall, and I used to play ball hockey a lot... (now I work out with free weights and do stationary cycling for cardio.). I rarely pass up an opportunity to discuss certain philosophy topics too...

I'm not much of a "chat room" person... I prefer forums.

Professionally I've had a varied career (studying Actuarial Science at University in the early-90's), lately (in the last 5-10 years) focusing on technical stuff. Picked up a college diploma in Networking and DB Admin a few years ago, and passed the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) exams too (passed one Oracle exam before I gave up on that track). Worked using the tech. support skill set for a few years (shift work sucks!!!), and then I was laid off (company was sold... new owners outsourced my department) so I started to re-evaluate my career goals / path. I'm currently working on adding programming skills to my resumé (self-study, starting with Java...).

Never taken an IQ test... but I'm quite sure I'd do very well on anything logical.

Favorite pizza? Deluxe deep-dish of course (pepperoni, sweet green / red peppers, italian sausage, onions, mushrooms, extra cheese... maybe throw in some ham / bacon, and pineapple). My only real pizza rules are: no hot peppers and no seafood... otherwise, almost anything goes.

Of course pizza is not my favorite meal. I love to sink my teeth into a properly grilled thick chunk of Top Sirloin, done medium well (still pink in the center). Throw in sautéed onions, and a baked potato with butter, sour cream, chives and bacon bits...
