Sometime ago I submitted a blog entry with some new faces for DS 1 Farmgirl. I know very few folks are still playing DS 1, but for the 5 of us across the world :P well, here we go. In addition to the faces, I added some new hair colors and starting outfits.

I have a terrible habit of going over and over things, correcting every little detail, so I forced myself to be satisfied with the current version of the mod. There are still some things I am not very happy with (I am really bad at matching skin tones) but eh.

I was told recently that Valentine's day is a "chick's holiday". :P

So I decided to make a couple of Valentine things for WOMEN characters.

Hope today brings much chocolate to all.

Man, I wished I liked sports. Particularly football or, er, "American Football" as my ex husband used to say. Since apparently soccer is football (footy!) to the rest of the world.

Heh. This blog is going no where because I am doing the text equivalent of babbling. Just checking in to see what's new around here. So, holla, or whatever you crazy kids are saying these days.

I amuse myself sometimes when walking by making groaning noises and waving my arms a bit, since I still can't walk properly and kinda shamble along like a zombie. The damage to my right ankle is permanent and it hurts to walk. So, Grrr Arrggh and other assorted types of undead noises..

The upside of this situation is ( and I'm really trying to find all the upsides I can) I will be applying for a handicapped parking placard and then I can grab up those sweet sweet handicapped spots at the grocery store. Awwww yeah.

Well, I do wear a halo now.

About a week and a half ago I had to have emergency surgery to remove an abcess from my throat along with a damaged disk from my spine. So, now I am all sulky again. Boo! But I am alive and breathing and able to walk with this gazillion pound thing on my head. Guess I am grateful as well.

I hope you've all been well and enjoying summer. Just know that I will be EXTREMELY jealous of you, because I have not. I've been hospitalized and in rehab since the first week of July for a spiffy fun illness called "septic arthritis" and let me tell you, I've been feeling very very spiffy...er, if one defines "spiffy" as feeling like an army of rabid squirrels are devouring your joints in addition to the fevers, secondary infections and nausea.
