Supreme Commander Beta testing...

FYI,
If anyone here is interested in RTS (Real Time Strategy) games, and is already registered at the GPGarage, the deadline is tomorrow for applying there for a chance to be a part of the closed Beta for GPG's upcoming release "Supreme Commander".

Farewell, my dear friends

I have been a member of the DS community a pretty long time now, and I liked it. But I don't play DS anymore, and I rarely even post here. I hope this communtity will continue to exist for a long time, and I will still pay a visit here every now and then. But I don't really have anything to contibute to this site, nor do I really enjoy being here as much as I did. So, to all of you,

Farewell, and may StheD live on!

Tower of Song

Heres a new game, which I saw on another forum... it was bigger than this one so it might not work here, but lets give it a go, shall we? Wink

How it works: The first 10 posts add a song to a tower. After 10, the next poster removes a song that they don't like (or don't like as much), and adds another one at the bottom.
For example, if the tower was like this (its only 4 songs but doesn't matter):

Pearl Jam- Black
No Doubt- Its My Life
Crazy Frog- Axel F
Rolling Stones- Satisfaction

and I wanted to take out Crazy Frog and add in Alanis Morrisette, I would do this:

Pearl Jam- Black

"Children Of Hurin" to be published, at last..

After 30 years, Christopher Tolkien has finally finished his father's story,
"The Children of Hurin" for publication in the spring...

- I hope it's not as dry as The Silmarillion, that was really heavy going..

9/11 Memorial

It passed us by yesterday. We all know the date and what happened there. Even if you are not an American, I ask that you think on what happened that day and mourn the lives lost on September 11th, 2001.

1966 and all that.. BBC comedy

catch the show via the BBC Radio4's listen again service..

- very jolly stuff!

NVIDIA 91.47 driver..

Version 91.47 (WHQL certified) - released on 1st September 2006..

..it's got lots of high-end support for 7950GX2's and the like,
but also 6800, 6600 and SLI stuff - as well as a fix for the GUI..

see:- http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html (- for the WindowsXP/2000 32-bit version)

BTW - it mentions DS titles no less than 5 times in the custom 3D settings list, so they must like us..!! ^_^
