Quick Mod Request

I'd like a fast-leveling mod, but not like the one that's already available.
Rather than leveling up 100 Levels at once, I want a more subtle one. Perhaps.. 5, or 10 levels per kill?
This is because I'm creating a small group on DS2 to play online. I've got one person I consistently play it with, and we like to RP. I like to take on the role of different characters, but it's harder to do that the higher up in levels we get.

Whatever the reason for it, is this a mod that could be made? I imagine it'd also be useful for quick-testing playthroughs of a game with experimental mods installed.

Lemme know!

5, or 10 levels per kill? r u serious or for real? so if level 100 is max that means after killing 20 ha'ku u would be level 100 and done leveling? what is the point in that?

To reach a specific level.
Rather than grinding for hours to play with someone else who's already, say, level 40, you can make a quick character.
Or say you want to replay the game as a different class, but you don't wanna wait to wear all your favorite gear, so you jump up ten or twenty levels. Orrr you want to make a specific build with a bunch of skill points you'd normally wait hours to obtain. Take out the leveling mod, then put on the Monster Level Adjust mod and wham-o, you're still playing fairly.

Or, again, for my specific situation, to RP with someone. Making different characters with different personalities is fun, but I certainly can't expand them much with another person when they're 30 levels above me and joining them for the actual gameplay is just deathdeathdeath.

Plus there are mods that change the level cap to 300 or 500.
I guess in the end there isn't exactly much 'point' to it, but it could still be a useful thing to have here and there, maybe.

why not just use the DS2 Character editor and just make a level 40, level 50 whatever character level u need?

I never heard of that, actually.
I don't think I've seen mention of that around here before.

Found it now, though. That's enough for me, surely.

if that don't work, u can use tank extractor and extract your save game (make backup first) and edit them put items needed on a character and save them back as save games are just like mods.

or could just mod the changes and save the character with a heroes.gas file and reload without the modified heroes.gas

I modified something I was working on that dealt with exp. This should allow you to level up however you want. They are exp spells that buff you for ten mins. You can choose from 10%, 50%, 100%, 200%, 500%, and 1000%. They are always sold in all magic shops in the nature magic tab. The amount of exp will vary depending on what level monsters you're fighting.

Edit: With the 1000% exp buff you get around 35 just going through the DS2 tutorial. I did it this way so your whole party could level up at the same rate. Exp items seem a bit more restrictive.
