Some converted DS1 weapons and shield mods.

Here are 4 converted DS1 armor and shield mods for use in Dungeon Siege 2 and Broken World. They were previously a part of DS2BW Adepts but I broke them up and made them separate for use in any community mod that may or may not eventuate. They should be compatible with all other mods, even the versions of them in Adepts.

The first one is nearly 50 mixed weapons and armor from Lurker, Azrus Revell, Firebat, Umbrella, Descious, Kalibur and the mega mod collection compiled by Ka04k

The second one is from DS1 Countersiege source by Iarus and WnxWanderer2k and has 9 guns.

Glad you like them.

As I said all of these are in DS2BW Adepts but not everyone likes the anime style of that mod so I thought I'd make them separate. Hardless suggested that they be broken up into smaller modules as not everyone like playing with guns in a pre-medieval game though Obsidian didn't mind adding them to DS3 (though in fairness they are medieval style rather than modern).

Plus with smaller modules any fixes or improvements can be more easily applied. Especially for the guns as the characters hold them like crossbows and the protoweapons would be better if they use magical effects rather than bullets.

I was able to fix the gobbots flamethrower and lightning gun in the Legendary Mod by giving those gobbots spells and making their weapons staves instead of projectile guns and it worked since gobbots only have the one stance but that approach won't work with the playable characters. Unfortunately I lacked the ability or knowledge to attach magical effects to the ends of weapons so they act in the desired manner.

All credit for them of course goes to the original authors who are credited in the respective readmes for each mod.

I'm back in business :-),

I have a lot to do with the Ancient Gifts at the moment, but I could try to make an effect for the Protoweapons.

I'm not really familiar with animation and bones so I don't think that I could help about the guns.

I used these mods in DS1, so it's amazing to have them available for DS2 now Smile I was never too fond of the guns though however, still a treat lol

The Black Firebat is showing as unusable but has no requirements

The DS1 weapons and shields conversion to DS2 mods have been updated primarily to fix a potential crash with some of them if used in vanilla DS2.
